Hi. My son is 14 months old & loves his Gerber food & eats that well up to Stage 3 although he will not eat any of the foods that have little pieces of rice or noodles which Gerber makes. My son has A LOT of teeth but just won't use them for chewing. Anytime I try introducing real human food, even like a fruit smoothie, he just gags & hates the texture & or taste. I don't know what to do. How do I make the transition? On a side note, I am also paranoid that he could get something lodged in his throat & choke... but I will be taking a CPR class to address these fears of mine. Is it maybe too early & children eventually eat/chew at their own pace? I don't want him to develop any speech problems down the line because he is not developing his tongue/chewing/eating at an appropriate time. Thanks
