We are looking for feedback, ideas, and hopefully some participation regarding the nation's first No Stress Day - September 29, 2007.

We thought it would be fun to launch a new "holiday" called No Stress Day that would accomplish two major objectives:

1 - Increase awareness of relaxing, stress-relieving activities that help people escape the stresses of everyday life - if even for just one day. If you have a business that offers stress-relieving products or services, you can help the nation celebrate No Stress Day 2007 by offering a special, one-day discount at your location on September 29, 2007. We are providing a free listing on our web site for all participating organizations and will include your advertised discount and company information (address, phone #, and web site link). Because this is my first post in this forum I am unable to provide a direct web site link, but our site is located at NoStressDay dot com. Just email us the discount you would like to provide to relax @ nostressday dot com.

2 - Help raise money for charities that focus on helping sick children. This year, 100% of the profits from the sale of our No Stress Day t-shirts, which are available on our site, will be donated to help fund pediatric cancer research.

If anyone would like to help us market No Stress Day, we can provide you with the 2007 No Stress Day logo for you to put on your web site, include in your emails, etc. Please help us spread the word and forward this on to any other companies you know that offer relaxing, stress-relieving services or products. We look forward to the input from this group.

National Stress Awareness Day is April 17.

September is Shameless Promotion Month - for which you are a bit early.

September 29 is the last day of Deaf Awareness Week and National Adult Immunization Awareness Week. It is also the Family Health and Fitness Day USA as well as a couple of others.
