Oil Stains On White Tunic

Hiya everyone

Forgive me if this has been asked before, but I noticed that my white Tunic I got from Alexanders has got some yellow stains on it, Ican only assume their are oil stains. I tried pouring neat washing up liquid on them all and then washing at a high tempreture but they still remain.

Does anyone know of a product that will get the stains out, there are a fair few andI would not dare ware the uniform again because of the look of it, but otherwise the tunic is still in very good condition, I have only worn it a couple of time and loath to have throw it away.

I think Biotone made a product for the removal of oil stains, I have never used it though. The Massage Table Store are a UK distributor. Have you had a look to see if Stain Devils (http://www.acdoco.co.uk/stainclinic/step1.asp) do anything that may be of use?

I had a pillowcase and tablecloth deeply stained with yellow oil stains I'd put aside as hopelessly ruined. The stains were years old - the tablecloth was from gramma's attic. Nothing I'd tried had worked. After surfing the web, I tried the following: I put my biggest pasta pot on the stove and filled with water. Turned the heat on extra-low. Added Oxiclean, vinegar, and some hand-dishwashing soap, then let it simmer as I went about my day, stirring with a big wooden spoon every time I thought about it. A few hours in, I noticed the water was turning yellow and the stains were lightening. Added more Oxyclean. About 8 hours later I checked - every stain was completely gone!!!! Waaahooo!!! It really, REALLY works! Thank you Internet!
