oils storage box

does anybody know where i can get a wooden box to store my oils properly at a reasonable rate?

I got mine from Dinese brown. it was the most reasonably priced one i could find. on recieving it i must say i am very pleased with the quaility and look if it. she also sells most aroma products, which i can also recommemnd.

Strange you bring this question up, I was only out looking for a storage box for my oils yesterday and I was horrifed at the price of them.

I found a lovely one, it was a grey plastic box.......similar to the ones you can buy at B & Q to store power tools in for about a fiver. This one had sponge inside with holes to hold the bottles in place, it looked great, just what I wanted. I nearly died when the assistant said it was £36. Another I looked at was very small, it was made of wood and held about 16 oils and that was £17.

So I popped to Ikea and bought a miniture set of draws, it sits nice on my kitchen counter and has 6 drawers of 3 sizes, it holds all the bottles etc and will do till I can find a cheeper box to use. It cost my £8.....only down side, the draws don't have seperators in, but you can make some with a little bit of hardwood or cardboard.

essential oils direct do them and they have a handle on so are portable i think its great but i dont know whether you would consider it cheap or expensive.......i think i got value for money but thats not the same thing is it!

I found a lovely old wooden box for £3 at a car boot sale. I think it was originally for stationary, but its just the job. Its no good for mobile work though. Having said that, my friend who does maincures/pedicures found a great vanity case for £1 at a boot sale and has made compartments out of stiff cardboard for her nail varnishes. It could just as easily hold oils. If you use your imagination, you can come up with no end of good ideas.

I've got a lovely one - but it was about £70. I've had it for two years now and it is in very good condition and cart it around all week.

If you want to save money then why not get the type of box that holds tapes and CD's and has a handle on? Also a small tool box is about five pounds. Lots of therapists use them.
