I find out about a website (one of our gorgeous ladies sent me the link) and she was like OMFG to when she seen it!

Anywayyyyyyyyyy I have seen loads - literally LOADS of the new sites popping up all over Australia - all good - the more the merrier BUT this one takes the cake.... :evil:

Okay, I am looking at the site thinking oh yea, pretty cool - then I click on THEIR (cough, cough) advertising page and low and behold they have used most of MY ADVERTISING INFORMATION ReviewOM AUSTRALIAN-BABE THAT I HAVE BEEN USING FOR LIKE 5 YEARS AND WHAT TOOK LIL OLE ME LIKE 1 WEEK TO WORD IT WELL :sad:

No serious where do these ***** get off coming here and stealing my hard work then posting it on their website and then saying it is theirs :?: :?: Then to make matters worse they put this stupid disclaimer on their site saying; Copyright © 2007 Escorts in Oz No unauthorised reproductions. like HELLOOOOOOOOOOOO it isn't yours in the first place to make such ridiculous statements I am grumpy and very Reviewustrated right now!

One part that really got me going was where they copied this part almost word for word;
This website will NOT accept photos that are not of the actual lady – in other words we do NOT accept photos that are not of the advertiser! All text/images/content must be approved by P.L.A.(QLD only) before upload to our website. Like hellooooooo again AB is the only site in the whole of blimmin Australia that uses Verified Photos!!

Anyway - maybe I just might ring Keith (that is whos name it says on their website to contact) and give him an earful! Hmmmmmm :dunno: I dunno maybe I might just say 'you thief take my ad info off your site' hmmmmmm :dunno:

It would seem that the owner of that site may be unfamiliar with advertising laws around Australia.

At a glance, I can see several areas in the Victorian ladies' profiles which are in violation of Victorian legislation with regard to advertising restrictions.

I don't know if the ladies concerned are aware of their profiles on this site or if (speculating) the owner has just cut and pasted Reviewom their websites to pad out his advertising space.

Actually funny you mention that Raven, as I just got of the phone to Chanel and low and behold she never even authroised them to put her profile up let alone say what they said in profile! Like OMG how and why do people do such things? Imagine if the Police saw that - who would be in trouble here Chanel or the owner of the site? The Lady. They say that they do prosecute the owners of the sites and/or repremand them - gee you just have to look at Cracker to see how well the Police are doing in that department :roll: - not to mention the paper of course! Yep your right Nikki, I am certainly with you on being passionate about people copying your hard work....god knows I was there enough at the start of AB to see the many many hours of hard work you put into the site, and its so Reviewustrating to see your efforts just being copied. And whilst there is that old saying that copying someone is a form of flattery, I dont agree with that at all.

I wouldnt even give them the courtesy of a request email, but would simply send your "takedown" notice.

Letting all reputable ladies know about the dodgy practices about these sites popping up all over the place is also a good move....because without anyone to advertise on their sites, they might learn a lesson.

I will not support a site that plagarises work Reviewom another site, and urge all ladies to let as many of our collegues know as possible about these dodgy sites.
