Price Of Massage

Hello everyone,

Let me give you some backround information about me: So I've had my own business for about 15 months now. I love my location, my clients love my location, I'm in a town with a massage school and a ton of M.T.'s but my location is sort of away from that. I have two small signs but I can't have a big sign so no one knows where I'm at.Long story-Owner of the builder isn't nice at all....I need to make money, with prices going up on everything, I need to make cash because I'm losing a ton of money. I was thinking up of coming up with a plan that the client would come every 10 days for a discount, maybe $40 an hour and if for some reason they can't show up once, they get one excuse, if they don't come for another 10 days, they get charged regular price. I hope I'm making sense, I know what I'm trying to type but I don't think it's coming out right.

I'm not sure I understand what you're asking for... what kind of information or responses are you wanting from us?

It sounds like you love your location but you can't afford it with the business load that you have right now and you're trying to come up with ways to make money fast (this = more money now, less money in the long run). If you are okay with making $40 an hour for repeat business then go for it. Just think of 2 years from now when you've got all that you can handle at $40 an hour and make sure that it's a decision you want to make for your practice and not one that you are making just to get by for now.

Building owner isn't nice at all means what? He won't let you out of the lease? Are you able to sublet or have another person sharing your rent?

Your plan is not a bad plan, go ahead and implement it. Get out and network yourself, so that people will know where you are.
