So i decided to make a procedures manual in order to help with training staff, both therapists and reception, and to help me get to the point of being able to franchise my buisness at some point. I have included stuff like daily check lists, computer procedures, product discriptions, copies of marketing material, telephone procedures, sample letters to doctors, billing procedures, etc.
I am trying to work on our philosophy of care section including clinic philosophy, treatment objectives etc, and wondered if anyone had some suggestions, or places i could find this info.
I thought this might make a good stickey to help other clinic develop there buisness, what do you think?.
I will add a sample of what i have found/made so you can start your own manual. the only catch is that you need to add to this post, from your own manual, if we get 10 or 20 sections you can adapt this for your own clinic

February: Valentines Day/ Gift Certificates
March: Yellow Pages Due!
April: Easter, Spring Cleaning, fun Run, Yellow Pages Due !
May: Motherโs Day, Spring Gardening, Spring Clean-up
June: Fatherโs Day, MTB Race, Main St. Festival, street Festival, Summer Allergies.
July:
August: MTB Race, area Picnic
September: Scotia Bank Marathon, Golf Tournament
October:International Marathon, Grocery Convention, Fall Garden Clean-up
November: Half Marathon, Benefits Ending Soon

Year round events/promotions should be analyzed for net marketing worth. Stay focused on target markets and areas to expand to not yet serviced by other local clinics. Focus marketing within a 3, 6 or 10 km. radius. Once the closer radius is focused on, then move out, when the outer radius is taken care of, go back and see what else you can do differently to improve the coverage in the immediate area.
Other: Yellow Pages due__April____; Mothers /Fathers Day; Secretaries Day; Garden Festival; Nurses Week; Local bike races at Forest; Report card time for teachers.
On-Site / Corporate: St. Lawrence Cement, Kraft, Early Intervention.
