Rash after massage

Before I panic, what do you make of this.

I had a couple of massages and an incall experience. One massage was with a fairly oily oil which I did not wash off.

I developed next day (today) a red rash under one arm which is uncomfortable though not excessively itchy. Certainly I can see the redness in the mirror - covers the pubic hair area. I feel, though cannot discern via mirror a slight similar itch under my right arm and back of my legs (behind the knees). Not easy to see in the mirror. Also a faint tingling under my scrotum.

Could be a reaction to the oil (I hope). Anyone offer alternate thoughts - I couldnt see an STD symptom that really matches.

Likely Oil Rash. Happens to me from time to time. Gotta space out the visits or use powder or lotion.

That is most likely the oil irritating your pores. I always take a little bar of soap with me, from a hotel or motel, and wash the oil off afterwards, since the liquid soaps they have at MPs don't really remove it. (Or you can use a bit of alcohol). You might be sensitive to something that is in the oil as well, like a fragrance or preservative. I know if I don't wash up afterwards, my crotch itches all day long.

Frickin' baby oil.... a plague on the industry, if you ask me, when mineral oil is cheaper, and doesn't stink to high heaven.

Your rash--nothing to be alarmed about--may well be a response to the chemical components in certain oils. Baby oil, for instance, is anything but innocent. I've had moments of terror when, after a visit to an MP, the head of my penis took on the florid hues of Irish nose and proceeded to bleed alarmingly. Happily, I figured it out: It happened only after I'd showered at the MP. The problem was cheap soap loaded with gawd-knows-what additives. Now I carry my own soap--and nary a problem since. I hope this helps any of you that might be encountering such a problem.

thanks for the thoughts, I've been praying to the almighty that is all it is. I had a bath last night, hasnt cleared up today but maybe lessened - hard to tell with my paranoia...

Remember that if you're over-vigorous in cleaning up the "little guy" you might well worsen things by rubbing too hard...



You'd be best to be prepared to be looking for a doctor just in case.

There's a "hassle free" clinic downtown you may want to look up... Just keep in mind that they are located such that they are more or less catering to the gay community, and that protesting "No! I'm straight!" may just get the look of "knowing denial." They doubtless get a lot of gay clients that aren't "out" that protest in much the same way...
