For those of you who have retailed the lubricants you use in your sessions, what were your experiences like?
"Sell lotion" seems like the first thing anybody who's not a massage therapist jumps to when giving out free business advice. So what's the real deal? I know some people have been successful with it, and others have not. What factors do you think shaped your experience and made it what it was?
I ask because I'm working with a company to formulate a private label lotion for my practice, and I'm looking into how much it would cost to do small runs of retail bottling.
Personally, I just can't imagine any of my clients wanting it, but that's probably my own bias--I am in no way a "normal" consumer
