Setting up Massage Therapy practice

This is my first post Just finished school and have the opportunity to rent a space cheap in a lower level with no window. Just wondered if people have suggestions on setting the room up. It is appr. 14 by 20 with a private entrance and a storage closet. Know it is not much but I would like it to be professional. Any suggestions would be welcomed. My [email protected]

I think a great way to glean ideas is to visit other spaces.
Be a client & enjoy a massage & look around - take mental notes on what you like/what you don't like.
Do you have a specific personal style?
Look online for spas & private practices that have websites with pics of their spaces. Also a great way to "peek" at other decorating ideas.
Whatever you decide, let function be as important as style. Then it will serve you well. Good size room, you can do alot with that!
Have fun! If its too overwhelming, ask a designer/decorator to trade massage for a consultation & some tips!

I have a nice large room also.
Two walls have windows, one wall has the door in the corner and the other wall is bare.
I've hung a Monet poster(mounted) from an online resource. We have a Cherrywood filing cabinet with a small fountain on it. Have a "sofa" table under one bank of windows which has a lamp on it and appointment book, pens, candles.
The other bank of windows has two small bookcases under them. In them are heating pads, crock pot, oils/lotions, some books.
On the wall the the door we have a "tall boy" dresser we have six drawers so three each. Stereo is on top of that. In the corner we have a microwave. There are coathooks on the wall. Room is big enough for table to be catty cornered.
I can send you pictures if you want.
Others here have much prettier rooms.
I love all the windows.

We also have a SMALL wastepeeforum.xxxasket and a SMALL cloth hamper. A rollling stool and an exercise ball.

Fantastic space size...

You have some wonderful opportunities to create a lovely space due to the length (20 ft.) of your room. This room will allow for a desk and three panel divider, plus plenty of space to work around your table.
