I am staying in Moscow at the moment and let me tell you it's f***ing cold...

So something warm between the sheets would be nice to have in my apartment. Moscow is a real monger's dilemma: the english-speaking (more or less) service providers want double or triple just because they speak a few words of English and hang out at places where westerners look for them (night flight, boarhouse etc.) The reasonably priced service providers working out of their apartments don't speak any English and will immediately hang up the phone when you try to converse with them...

So either you shell out big bucks for a mostly arrogant girl or you give up on the scene alltogether...unless you can find a buddy who speaks Russian. No other chances here unfortunately!!!

Tochka means Point or Location in russian.
It is a place where bunch of hookers are presented to the potential customers, it can be in diffirent places ( such as behind buildings, in the yard or even in the forest). Those locations are always changing , because sometimes cops give them hard time. If you speak some russian, try to find those places by talking to taxi drivers. Sometimes if you driving on Sadovoe Koltco ( Садовое Кольцо ) you can see single women standing on the side of the road.
It is very likely that they can lead you to a nearest "Tochka"
Ask them:" Devochki, gde zdes ryadom tochka?" - Girls, where is the nearby "tochka"?
They will tell you.
If they say something like "Poshel na huy, mudak!" - Fuck off, asshole! - it means that you asked wrong girls.

Go to a tochka. Just hail a cab at 10-12 pm Reviewom around Sukharevskaya Metro and say "Mojne py-dyohm - tochka - chatersta rublay" - which translates into - take me to the whores and then take me and the whore back to my hotel and I'll give you 13-14 bucks. Or go to the one in the Alekseevskaya underpass under Prospect Mira near massageplanete Mu Mu and Collins and the metro station. Mark Ames of the Exile always seems to mention a tochka at Leninsky and one at Leningradsky prospekt. Whatever. Girls are in 3 categories - 70, 100 and 150. All for the night. Edited: But if it's your first trip to Moscow and you don't speak Russian, I suggest you go to Night Flight instead. More expensive girls, but easy to find and worth visiting even if you just have a look.

No, tochka is not a certain street in Moscow. Tochkas have been discussed and explained at length on this (and many other) forums, so just do a search.

By the way, you need to have a car and to speak Russian if you want to visit a tochka.

Als auch um 2Uhr wenig Akzetanz bei dem Damen war den Preis zu verhandeln, habe ich mich entschieden zum Nightfligt zu fahren. Der Taxifahrer vor der Tür wollte 20$, letztendlich hat er mich dann widerwillg für 10$ gefahren.
Im Nightfligt war es um 2.30am bereits ein wenig leerer, die Damen Reviewagen auch für 300$. Eine wirklich sehr attraktive (rate 8) hat dann gut eine Stunde mit mir ein Glas Wein getrunken. Als wir dann um fast 4 Uhr gehen wollten blieb Sie aber auch weiterhin stur bei den 300 $. Ich hatte auch meinen Stolz und bin dann alleine ins Hotel gefahren. Verhandeln ist schwer, aber nicht unmِglich.

As for cheap women in offbeat cities of Russia/Ukraine - they exist, to an extent, but if you don't speak Russian, and you don't have lots of time to devote to scouring them out, you'll never find them...they are geared towards locals - no streetwalkers or 'signs' anywhere.

Plus, they very well have aids, plus a host of other narly STD's.

You'll find plenty of pay for play opportunities in Odessa, in the summer - geared towards foreigners. Not cheap though. Mostly semi-pro college girls looking for some extra cash.

Odessa would be an ideal place for Bacon Butty...especially in the summer months. There are hoards of Russian tourists - much easier to chase the tourists than the locals (this is the same worldwide...). The beach atmosphere adds to the partying, open spirit.

Odessa is fairly well westernized, as far as Ukainian/Russian cities go. I wouldn't advise going to small Russian towns - English won't be spoken much, and girls really won't be as easy as you might want to think....

You can read up profusely on Odessa in the Ukraine board. You will also read a good bit of dissapointing experiences - it isn't as easy a hunting ground as one might hope. Basically, loads of stunning girls, but they don't instantly drop their pants at the sight of foreigners (not anymore, anyway....).

I also advise travelling with a wingman, if possible - or meet up with someone. The same rules that apply in U.S./Europe apply in Russia/Ukraine - a single guy is suspicious...and it can be emotionally difficult to be on your own, while getting rejected...

There are many foreigners besides you there, so don't worry, prices will not blow . Check them on Ukrainean forum, as I don't know them exactly. I just know they are lower than in Moscow. The city is getting modern, but it's still a bit Soviet. I saw there a lot of clubs and restaurants. And no British fat girls, only petite Ukraineans.

Thanks for the reply Helena. Odessa does look interesting and the beach definately sounds like a great plan for the summer when I have 3 weeks booked off. I like to try and get girls normally rather than paying although on the beach with no common language it may be tough. Dear Bacon, outside Moscow and St.Pete there is life in Krasnodar, Rostov, Ekaterinburg, Kazan and some other places. I heard about beautiful and cheap girls living there . I wasn't there myself and can't judge. But I was last spring in Odessa (Ukrain) and the beauty of local girls really shocked me. I decided not to stay more than 2 days among such rivals . Go there.
