Straight normal massage tips

I was wondering how much tip should I give for one hour straight massage with no extra.
I had a massage in the new location of classic wellness massage and the girl wanted to take $40 for no extra straight massage and wasn’t happy with a $15 tip.

The last time I gave $30 and the girl was very surprised. She was used to $10 tips.

Correct. None of the semi legit spa operators pay any kind of wage to the girls. Imagine waiting from 10 in the morning till 10 at night, with a good chance you might only get 1 or 2 guests. In the majority of cases, a large part of earnings needs to go back to China to pay for mortgage and school fees (a lot of girls have young children back in China, whom they miss a lot). So subtract that and after paying for groceries, rent (even a little Toronto basement room the size of a closet runs at $600 - $1000 per month), phone and sometimes uber to work, there is not a lot left. So leaving a tip of $40 for a semi-legit massage with no extras is not that unreasonable. It is different if you go to a legit medical spa where massage specialists do get a normal hourly wage, in that case $20 would be appropriate. I don't mean to write a sob story, but just be kind, respectful and consider your tip is the girls only means of income.

Ask Lucy what she is paying per 30/45/60 minutes now. I have heard that some well known places are paying nothing, and several other places have decreased the room fee. As an insider, interested in what you have heard.

I usually pay smth like the door fee - so if door fee is 40/50/60 for 30/45/60 minutes I tip the same amount 40/50/60, it is definitely more work if girl is doing 60 minutes compared to 30.
It is for good massage with some extras like top nude/full nude/dirty talk whatever, no FS I mean.

Fully clothed restricted HE - just 40 on top of door fee.
