Got a wild hair and went to D'Pelufos the last two nights. To give you a review, it is a $10 cover to go in which includes two free beers. The talent is very nice. Not 10's but not really any dogs. All the security, bartnenders and everyone is very professional and corteous. The only thing is that it is mainly a Tico joint and the chicas don't really flirt or play with you much. They hang out with their local friends. Don't let me mislead you. Private dances are available, but I like to catch a chicas eye instead of pursuing her like a real date. Price for full service is like $166. Good time, I'll definitely go back. Then I headed to Diva's. There were at least five or six chicas that were hot. Got jumped on by a couple that were VERY agressive. Sat and had a couple of drinks and talked with a Nica. Very cute, not so agressive. Took her upstairs for a private dance and she looked better out of clothes than in. Smoozed her for a while and gave her my card. Told her to call me tomorrow and we would go to the beach in Esterillos for the day. Said she would. Won't wait until I hear from her though.... After the private dance, she went to talk to a guy. Found a hotter Nica at the bar. Bought her a drink and took her upstairs for a private dance. Very nice body!! Super tight. Gave her my card too, and told her to call me tomorrow. Interviewing for a new "novia". Why can I use this word when I make fun of it on the board? BECAUSE, I know and can play the game!! Anyhow, both places were fun. Maybe not for all, because I don't count my money when I go out. I don't do budget....

Heard of and been to Diva's, believe it's on the corner and upstairs, but can't remember the name of the popular restaurant below. Seems like it's a Mexican banditos name, God I'm losing it!
Anyway, where is D'Pelufos? I've been to Jaco many times, will be back in early January. Have enjoyed your posts and others of the many regulars. Best of Wishes!

The name of the restaurant below Diva's is Pancho Villas. D'Pelufo's is where the old Hollywood used to be. If you are coming into Jaco, it is on the right hand side just before the first turn into Jaco.

Thanks for your response on the location of D'Pelufo's. Guess I would've come up with Pancho Villa's sooner ... or later! Perhaps when I'm in town I can buy you a beer. I've been coming to CR now for approx. 3 years, this will be my seventh trip. Always interested in hearing about property, business opportunities, etc. from a local. Thanks again.

Hey TW! I went to both of those joints too. I took that Nica I was with when I saw you a few weeks ago. Same chick we met at Bohios one night back in the summer. She has lost alot of weight since then. Went from attractive to gorgeous pretty quick. Anyway , at both clubs she paying girls out of her pocket to dance on me. I couldn't believe it! That was the first time I had ever seen one of them do something like that. Coming back in a couple weeks dude ... let's do some partying!

I have a "very close" Tica friend who dances at Divas. She hasn't worked for a while because she says the place has been dead. (no Gringos) She is going back this week because she says it should pick up. She also tells me that most of the chicas there are Nicas.

Went back to both last night. Really impressed with the quality at D'Pelufos. Found a female partner that likes to go with me and matches me whiskey for whiskey. We both had private dances. Was fun watching her get one. Diva's isn't bad. Not top of the line but some attractive chicas for sure. Hasn't been any daytime activity at Bohio bar lately.
