Excellent!!!
As others have stated, Jennifer seems to combine all three disciplines(Swedish, Tui-nui, and Schiatzu) in her massage. She seems particularly adept at massage of the glutes, thighs, calves, and feet. Very concerned with using the right pressure. When using deep pressure point massage, she seems to know just when to let up and move to another spot, before it starts to really hurt.
Only one thing marred the experience a bit. When I walked in, and was introduced to Jennifer, the first thing she said was..."Oh...you're too big for me!!" Since I hadn't disrobed, she was commenting on my weight. Later, in the room, she told me I had to lose weight. Well....I know that...my doctor tells me that every time I see him. I wasn't there for a medical opinion.
Here's the update on Amy, right from Shirley. She is expected back sometime during the week after Mother's Day, which, is May 8th. Jennifer tells me that she will continue to work there Tuesdays & Thursdays, after Amy returns. And...Shirley has invested in new massage tables...only room C has one set up as of 05/06/05, but the other two were still in their boxes in the waiting room. These are much better...lower to the floor, wider, and with both a face hole in the table, and a proper adjustable external head rest/face hole. Much more comfortable than the old tables.
Will I switch to Jennifer? No...she's a little too blunt in her manner for my taste, although she gives a very good massage. For those who care, she is very average looking. Amy just pampers me too much to make the switch.
In light of the recent Toronto Star "expose" on the holistic centers, I hope they leave Changs alone...it's the real deal...
