Christmas can feel like an incredibly busy time with numerous nativities to watch, carols to sing and last-minute shopping to grab so it can be easy to feel the stress levels rising. A perfect way to unwind during the Christmas period is a trip to the spa, or you could book one for a loved one making a fab Christmas present, and in Cardiff we are spoilt for choice for great options.

From glamorous rooftops to spas you might not even know exist, there is plenty of choice in and around the Welsh capital. If you are just looking for a dip in the pool and two hours of peace and quiet or a full-on treatment to truly rewind, we have got you covered.

Spa at St. David's​

Voco St. David's hotel in Cardiff Bay is home to a stunning spa. With lots of different packages you can simply come here with your book, dip in and out of the pool which has a water corridor and jacuzzi and enjoy the views of the bay.

It will come as no surprise that one of Cardiff's glitziest hotels, the Parkgate Hotel, is home to a spa. At the spa, there are four elegant treatment rooms and the pool has views over the Principality Stadium and Cardiff.

Also heading out of Cardiff is the lovely Celtic Manor hotel, which is also loved by golf fans, and they are home to the Forum Spa. The spa offers facials, massages, treatments for men, manicures and pedicures, pregnancy massages and more.

Nestled in Pontcanna is the Love Live Light Healing Hub, which is even enjoyed by celebrities. Earlier this year Hollywood star Woody Harrelson popped in and enjoyed a massage there.
