OK, here's Part Three of the massage-goals polls! I'm interested to hear: what is your annual goal (a goal that you are currently near) for gross income generated from revenue streams that are directly related to your massage practice?

Things like spa services done at the massage office (everything from hot packs to Jill's eyelash extensions!), teaching massage, writing books or articles, employing ICs or renting space, selling retail products from the office (total, or your commision). That's what I'm talking about.

As always, I'd love to hear details.

i've bought an infrared body wrap too.. my *goal* is to do 12 per week.

that is shooting high, i think. but that's what i've set my goal for.. so doing that would put me in between the 21-50K mark. i hope to more than pay off the machine by the end of the year. if it would just get here then i could start!

anyway, i'm enjoying the polls.

Well, I am not close to my goal and I didn't vote. But I am brainstorming ideas for bodywork related income streams.

My financial goal for this apsect is 50k-100k. But I don't know what is realistic. It might be between 30k-60k.

I'd love to hear from people who have a good retail side and the profit margin.

People who offer CEU courses and the profit margin.

People who offer community classes and the profit margin.

At my clinic we sell rocktape (kinesiotape) , zanagen (inflammatory cream) and THE Stick. The stick is by far our best seller.

Has anyone sold custom insoles such as ALINE?

I can't imagine anyone would be sad to earn 100k a year if the business were there, but for just starting out in a small town in Michigan I will be really pleased if by the end of the year I'm netting about $2,000 a month. I live simply and bargain hard so that sort of income would be more than sufficient for living and putting money back into the business.
