DENVILLE — Denville police are cracking down on illegal massage parlors operating within the township as part of a "quality of life initiative." In a news release, police said three women from Flushing, N.Y. were arrested Thursday on prostitution charges for allegedly operating an illegal massage parlor on East Main Street.
After receiving reports of an illegal massage parlor operating out of Spring Health Spa, police conducted surveillance of the business and observed a steady flow of male customers into and out of the business.
Following surveillance and numerous interviews, police determined that three women were performing sexual acts in exchange for money.
Lan Hua Cui, 40, Yuyin Zhao, 43, and Jae Lee, 50, were each arrested and charged with engaging in prostitution, police said. The trio was processed and released pending a court date.*
Denville police arrested two women on prostitution charges last week in connection with an illegal massage parlor they allegedly operated in a second floor apartment on First Avenue.
