Tips for introducing new food to picky dogs?

Hello, I have two chihuahuas currently eating(well more like picking at) Kibbles&Bits small bites. I know I know, a horrible food! XD You see it's the only food they ever ate a lot of. Everything else they refused to eat. Some people recommended I feed them a higher quality food like Blue Buffalo.

I've decided I'm going to buy this -http://www.petco.com/product/109081/Blue-Buffalo-Adult-Small-Breed-Life-Protection-Formula-Dog-Food.aspx?CoreCat=DogFlink_DryFood- tomorrow and try to get them to eat it. Only problem is how should I introduce it to them?

On a side note, does anyone have a picture of the Blue Buffalo kibble its' self? It doesn't look like kibbles&bits does it? Or is it uniform in shape?

A good way to introduce new food is mix it to do a half and half. This way it is not a sudden shock to them, the dog is more likely to adapt to that change that just a complete 360. I know this has worked for myself with Dachshunds...who are stubborn as heck! Plus, you'll get to use up the old food rather than just having to toss it.

Trust me with an adopted overweight dog and a puppy at the same time we've tried new foods like you would not believe! Trying to keep the old one away from puppy food was...interesting!.

try giving it to them a little bit at a time. Usually, my sisters picky dog that i babysit constantly loves new food the first week or so and then won't eat. But when u introduce it to her a little bit at a time she devours it bc she's so curios and pretty much fed up with u not giving her the whole bowl of food. lol.
