I am going to be starting work as an IC at a salon two days a week. The salon has just been taken over by new owners and they have never offered massage there before. I would like to implement a referral program such as get $5.00 off next massage when you refer a friend who books and keeps an appointment. I am wondering what is a good way to keep track of the referrals, who sent them in, did I give them the $5.00 off their next appointment, etc. Any ideas would be appreciated. Also, how do you keep track of your gift certificate sales and redemptions?
