Treatment chairs?

Hello Would those of you who use a chair for treatments be so kind to share which makes you use? I've heard a few use lafumas but are they really worth the high price tag? I have a couch but it doesn't sit up which is why I'm thinking of getting a chair. Unless lafumas really are the dogs nadgers that nothing compares to, I'd like something cheaper and hope you guys can point me in the right direction of something I'm not going to regret as a duff buy! I've looked at the cheaper versions of the Lafuma and they are not built the same standard, but nevertheless work OK. Cheap is false economy and not so environmentally friendly (in terms of having to replace cheaper models quicker, and spare parts for Lafuma's are available). My clients like the Lafuma and is generally more relaxing than a couch. If you have regular clients, you will soon pay for it and therefore not a duff buy.

I bought my Lafuma when I started my reflex course. I thought I'd use it for my case studies and then change it for a couch when I was up and running with a good number of regular clients. I'm still using it because my clients like it and find it very comfy.

Quite often the problem with the cheaper version is that the feet on some doesnt come up high enough to do a treatment.
If you can save up and get a lufuma you do really get what you pay for. Been using mine very regularly for almost 3 years and it still looks brand new. I too got mine from oxford Therapy supplies

I love my Lafuma, I can honestly say, don't know if all will agree with me but a Lafuma is 50% of the treatment, even though speaking as a therapist I receive a reflexology treatment weekly and the Lafuma is a must, they are so relaxing, especially if you have back trouble like myself!
I would say though that it's best to get the larger one, I didn't, so my larger clients use the couch as the Lafuma I've got only takes upto 17 stone, the larger one is much better in the long run!
Money well spent!

Must admit I bought a cheap version this year. It won't get used daily and as I wanted it to double up as a garden chair, the cheaper one suits fine. The handles are plastic rathr than wood but it seems okay. I actually got 2 for £60 from Kaleidoscope catalogue but it was a special offer so don't know how much they are now.

I got mine from a place called dobbies but they have gone up now, that was about 4 years ago, before they got popular and I have a bag altogether I paid £69.

I am still looking as don't need one urgently, but would like one ready for the new year when we will start our case studies in earnest. Those links are great too thank you.

I keep hoping a used one will come up locally to me on Ebay..failing that i may just start out with a cheapie one and relegate it to the garden once i am in a better position to buy a lafuma
