UK Therapist Database...

I don't know how much attention people pay to me talking about Ruby Wax (I love her in a weird "I wish she was my Mum" way!) but a while back I posted some TV stuff she did before Xmas where she spoke about endorsing a therapist Database.

Well today I found out it's called Veritas List and you can find it here...

It offers information on therapists all over the UK and what all the different types of therapy are.

Some of you are probably listed on it I imagine (assuming there are some therapists on this forum, which wouldn't be a wild assumption!)

I think it's a good idea, like compare the market for therapy and personal needs I guess!

Thanks - had a look and it didn't seem to want me to register.

'Procedure or function spManageTherapist has too many arguments specified. '

Tried all sorts of ways to get rid of this message but couldn't!! there doesn't seem to be any contact us page.

Has anyone else had this problem?

Who would want to use that list when there is a perfect one here at HP?????

(I think it is a bit dodgy that there is no 'contact' facility on that site, plus the business name at the bottom of the page could mean anything - all very odd - plus I don't know any of the people listed in my area, and nor can I see them when doing a directory enquiries search........hmmmm!)

There's s much information here I'm always finding, it's like Narnia, but a forum!

Shame I didn't know about this place 2 years ago or when I was a teenager, might have helped and saved me going on the stupid tablets I'm now dependable on.

Does it or did it cost anything to join?

Years ago a plethora of these things were set up by people looking to make money from therapists who didn't have websites (or free listings/google adwords/gumtree etc etc)

They all seem to have died a death.

Once again I have to agree with you ;-)

Generally speaking, they all a waste of time! I'm always getting e-mail requests to join internet listings and I just delete them. Having said that I do get the occasional client (usually on holiday in Cornwall) from www.embodyforyou.com But that's part of my membership deal.
