Uniforms

Just though it's be interesting to see what people wear when carrying out treatments, whether it is a therapists uniform or just a t-shirt with a logo and some trousers.

I still have my dresses from college and they still look good, however, I prefer to wear a tunic and trousers. I got my current (white) one from a trade show and I have just ordered a black tunic from inline london. I have also got my eye on the white one with the black straps at the shoulders.

What about you?

I have often wondered this too!!

I wear blue trousers and either my old college white tunic top with blue piping (same as a physios!) or I also have a pale blue tunic top.

As I work in a clinic I always feel it looks more professional to be wearing a "proper" uniform, however if I am at someones house and it is not the first time, I sometimes wear a plain white collared t-shirt with the blue trousers.

I have considered the black, but am worried about the oil stains showing up even more than they do on the white!!

I have looked at various colour combinations - a shop near to me will custom make tunics with whatever colour and piping you like, nut I havent decided on a colour combo yet!

I have a white uniform dress and a tunic (AOR), but sadly they are b***s for stains. I got something on my dress and it will not come out. (might be tea, or jam)
I wear the tunic sometimes, especially on first treatments. After that I might wear a white top of varying designs, depending on the weather. Otherwise when I get to know clients I just wear ordinary clothes. Mostly with my badge and fob watch (which is invaluable).

In a clinic setting, I would wear uniform.

I think the black is more flattering and I thought - because I am liable to get eyelash tint/etc on it - it would be easier to keep clean! However, I think it is good to wear white (from a clients pov) because you see stains more clearly and you can get a better picture if they're hygienic, etc.

Wow, could you imagine it - I'd be a vision in pink!

I now work in black linen trousers with a black sleevless top, I also work barefoot - I feel more grounded that way.
