Hmmm - uniforms - interesting concept!

Might need that one explaining.

I'm playing, of course, although there is some, not so old research suggested about 60% of patient/clients preferred the white coat thing. Takin into account skew & various other quirks of statistics - I would guess it's about even, that is, if we were all androgenous beings. [sm=sad2.gif]

I think they should have differntiated between the male/female issue on that one, but then I'm probably just being lazy. All that extra washin & ironing, just doesn't do it for me.

I'll take the good communication over the white coat barrier any day, but then I'm male, so it's an easier choice. If I were female, then I'd probably consider wear one or robust dungerees.

I think wearing a uniform is more professional especially for us massage therapists and I get mine from Alexandras. There are very reasonable and have a good selection of dresses, tunics, trousers etc. It also saves ruining your own clothes.

Alexandras is also the firm used by my local college for their health and beauty students.

I like DK Profashion for uniforms as there is quite a lot of choice and the quality is good. They have a nice choice of white and colourful uniforms. You can browse and order on line, although I wouldn't say they are cheap. Off to have a look at the other link.

I just wanted to come on and say that I've found the most fantastic uniform company ever! They are reasonably priced, nice styles lots of choice and the delivery arrived within a few days! Can I add a company I use....... www.healthandbeautywear.co.uk. They have some beautiful and very stylish unforms, including plus sizes. I ordered a lovely oriental style tunic with diamonte buttons at around 3.30 one day.........it arrived the next morning. I was absolutely amazed. I only paid £30.00 + £5.00 postage.

I am really thrilled......it washes well.

I'm looking for an unusual tunic for work, our colour scheme is copper and muted browns.

We would like something in brown or copper and will be getting a logo or name embroidered on it.

inline do a lovely chocolatle one but its £65!!! So obviously cost is important too.

I can recomend www.cordcourt.co.uk i get my tunics from there. the stretch fabric ones are great quality. not sure if they will do exactly what u want, but you could give them a call and see what they can do - very helpful people. maybe they could do some copper ribbing around the edges?
