Unofficial poll: Why use an MP instead of an escort?

I am an occasional user of SP's, but have never been to a MP, so I ask in all innocence and ignorance of the MP experience......why go to an MP when an escort is a sure thing?

Differences:

a. From lurking here at massageplanet.net, I get the impression that at an MP, you aren't sure how much mileage you will get from any given attendant, or even if you will get your rocks off at all. At an incall location such as Roommates or Oasis, there is no question that you will obtain FS from your lady.

b. At an MP there is also a risk that LE could raid the place at any time. Since escorts are operating outside of the public eye, they are much less vulnerable to raids, if at all, so no risk there. Zero risk if you are using an outcall service in the privacy of your home or your hotel room.

c. At a MP, everyone else in the strip mall knows you are a customer at a rub and tug; all kinds of people see you walking in and out of "one of those places". You know, the ones with the big neon signs. In a hotel room or a studio, no one has any idea what you're doing.

So, I'm just curious why rub and tugs are so popular. I am not criticizing anyone's choices or trying to damage MP's business - this is just a new thread to try and find out what's up with MP's. I may even become a new MP customer if you guys tell me they rock! In any event, I'm curious. Thanks.

I've never been to see an SP, but from the sound of it most of us prefer to go to MP's because of the romantic ambiance they provide.

The first thing to understand is "It's not about the mileage!". This is probably the biggest mental hurdle for SP guys to understand. Most of the spas that we talk about here are licensed body rub parlors. The chances of getting escort type services at a licensed spa are slim.

Start doing a search on "Cameron" from "Hands From Heaven". She is now retired but is a perfect example of how you can have an awesome time without FS. She was considered low mileage but still one of the best. This brings us to the second point to understand: "It's all about the Fantasy Experience and Art of the Tease". There can be a sensuality aspect that certain MP's and MPA's bring that you may not get with an escort.

There is also a different type of woman that you'll find as a MPA that you may not find as an escort. Even for woman there is a mental hurdle where "MPA's do not want to be considered escorts". MP's are more discrete then dancing (remember these women have families as well that they don't want to find out what they do) and do not cross the line of escorting. Also, I've seen many dancers (can't comment on the escort scene) and on the whole I've never seen so many beautiful women as I've seen in the MP scene.

MP's are also "more convenient". Not many incall places that you can go to on the same day. With MP's, the popular girls are usually booked up on the same day, but otherwise the amount of choices is large. If you get the urge you just go.

Don't know how else to describe it but "It's just a different experience that is based upon guys looking for a sensual experience vs. guys looking for FS". You either understand it or you don't but it's just that simple.

From my perspective, MPAs are more (or rather have a tendency to be more) of an artist of illusion than an SP is. When you go with an SP you do know what you're getting, there's no pretense, the very basics are expected and by and large, are sufficient to satisfy the customer. There are the golden girls of SPs who are highly regarded (Bobbi, Sherry to name just two).

In the MP world, you don't always know what you will get. Bare minimum, you walk away with a massage and that's it. But there's a whole lot more upside (as comared to expectations) and I find that part of the thrill of seeing an MPA. It's the difference of expectations to performance I think that makes MPAs more alluring and worth the risk or potential negative impression. There are the golden girls of the MPA world too who do make you feel special/King-of-the-World while you're with them.

What does it for me is the following reasons:

A.) Cheaper (I think SPs are 200+ for an hr or something, wouldn't know never seen an SP and don't intend too anytime in my lifetime)
B.) It's not about F/S or mileage for me (remember your biggest sex organ is not your head below the waist, but your head above your shoulders!)
C.) It's typically safer unless your doing high risk behaviour (PS etc.)
D.) At most MPs, I get treated like a king, where as at a SP...well from what i've read on here sometimes you do sometimes you don't
E.) I like the social chit-chat that MPAs give from time to time, as sometimes you just want to lie down on your back and have a hottie rub away all the problems in the world. Maybe it's just me but I don't find enough time to sit down and talk with a hottie say at a bar all the time (I work 70-75hrs a week), so it's a bit rough sometimes.

3 out of my top 4 mpa's are certified low mileage girls. so it's definately not a mileage or Fs issue as i don't go to mp's for that.
I think that it's becuase its safer,cheaper and better interaction with the ladies are the main reason i prefer MP's.over Sp's.

I'm getting somewhat disallusioned with the MP scene, but am not sure I want to get into going to SP's. My problem is, I'm not really looking for FS, but want those extras( DATY, Digits, DFK{preferable}, GFE, CBJ) that are so hit & miss with MPA's. Everytime I seem to find someone who provides this, they leave the business(and before any of you guys say it...I don't think it's me)...LOL....except for my appearance, I think I'm the ideal client...I tip well, am personable, and respectful, and clean and hygenic.

I like going to IT, HFH, have been once to SRM(but it's quite a drive), go to Changs for an almost "real" RMT experience. The girls don't have to be supermodels, but they do have to be what most would consider "attractive".

This thread seems to address the problem, I, and others, seem to be having, which is why I'm posting here.

Any suggestions, gentlemen?
