Hi Froggy
Depending where you live, I'd be happy to send you an email with details ofa local hospice in Essex.I used to volunteer there, and there's ateam of volunteertherapists, so it provides good experience in a supportive environment. There's also Middlesex Hospital in CentralLondon - again depending where you live, am happy to provide contact details.
Other than that you might find something on
[link=http://www.do-it.org.uk]www.do-it.org.uk[/link]which is the national database for volunteering opportunties. The volunteering england website will also have details of your local volunteer centre (if there is one near you) who might be able to help with your hunt. Just google 'volunteering england'.
You might also find that organisations are on the lookout independently - for example, local to where I live, organisations for people with mental health issues, physical and learning disabilities and older people, all offer complementary therapies, so it might be worth researching locally to find out if there is any interest. The only thing withmaking approaches independentlyis to be sure of the cover offiered by both the organisationand your own insurance,so that all is above board .
Hope you find what you're looking for.
