Washington State License Fees Increase

Just a heads up to all my fellow Washington LMPs. Your renewal fee is now 99.00. Quite an increase since it started out at 10.00. Anyways, hope no one is caught unaware when their birthday renewal comes around.

That $10 renewal was a nice treat for a couple years, wasn't it? That was a temporary decrease (it had been $25 for a while) and my renewal last year was I think $50? $99 is a jump, but I'm really looking forward to the medical-library access it buys us.

Did you get included in the comment period before this increase went into effect? I think Ann Brittain's office sent out a notice about it a few months in advance (gov't liaison).

No I don't think I got a notice, but I get so much stuff who knows! I only found out because a friend told me she read it online. I think I paid 10. one year and 25. last year. It will be nice to have access to UW info. Its a big jump in one leap but all in all its one massage. And a write off. I just know that some of my LMP friends are on a tight budget so figured its good to get the word out.
