What are my dogs doing i just introduced them?

Listen I Have A 10 Week Old Golden retriver pup and a 13 week old beagle I Introduced them And The Beagle Ran And Chased The Golden And When The Golden Stopped The Beagle lifted her up by the nose and nudged her And The golden yelped but there was no sign of the beagle biting her she jsut yelped and was scared.

We Have To Sell The Beagle.

They are both babies, you can't expect their manners to be great at this point, especially if you haven't taught them better. You need to supervise them.

And why are you selling the Beagle?

You don't mention how long you've had the Beagle, but you need to allow enough time for the 2 to get acquainted. I've seen my Chihuahuas nudge one another on the belly when they play. Also, dogs will sniff each others behinds and under their belly to get acquainted. I feel you are jumping the gun if there's been no blood shed.

Sounds like the beagle wants to play and the Golden just isn't sure yet. They have to have time to get use to each other.. atleast 2 weeks before you can decide if they are going to get along.

Nudging is greeting behaviour. Odds are the beagle bumped the other dogs lower jaw and the retriever bit his own tongue. When my dog is introduced to another dog the two dogs take turns clamping down on each others muzzles or they lock their jaws together and run around the yard like a couple of idiots on speed. This is not aggressive behaviour on either dogs part. It's simply how they get to know each other and establish a pecking order.

Give them a chance to get to know one another before you take any drastic steps, they will realize that they are family and love each other, eventually, you'll see
