I have a facebook fan page that has 65 members. I created a Twitter account a few days ago. I'm just not quite sure what to post on these pages.

I want to post sales, health suggestions, inspirational quotes, events, promo codes, tips of the day, articles from Mercola, Natural News, etc.

What do you guys post on your facebook page / Twitter? Would you be willing to post your link so I can "follow" you and kind of get the hang of it?

I don't have a Twitter account for my practice, but on my facebook page I like to post links to articles of massage-related research. I do have a list of my services and prices, but my focus for the social networking is client education. I live in an area where people seem to be a little behind the times and only just beginning to learn about alternative and natural methods of healing and dis-ease prevention.

I do a daily wellness tip every day. It isn't just related to massage, i will do health, wellness, home tips, anything that can make someone's life a little easier or fulfilled. It isn't much, it is a LOT of work coming up with different stuff but i have had lots of people tell me they really enjoy it. You can find it at AmberLynn Therapeutic Massage

I see you have a lot of nutritional information on there. They're all great; may I ask where you get the information? With so many different opinions on things such as what could prevent cancer, what could increase your chances, etc, I'd be worried about saying one thing then see some big news announcement come out that contradicts it : but that's how it always is, right?
You have a lot of interaction on your page- that's awesome!

Generally, I try to post more things that may be useful or interesting to my clients and less about me. I will write the occasional "check out our newest review on citysearch" or something like that. Sometimes I will add hour changes. And, for a while, our schedule was a little different than normal, so you'll see some of those posts if you scroll down.

Currently, I've been posting regarding the homeless pet population in our area, as a number of people have come across my table have noted concern about this. Some belong to a few of the various non-profits here in town. So, you'll see some posts about pets, pet photography (we have a client who does this for a shelter in town) and places to adopt pets.

Next week, I may have people talking about something entirely different. Last week I had a client talking about a Gourd Festival. I added it to the page!

I also try to link to other's pages via my posts when possible. I've had a number of people find us that way.

On FB, make sure you "like" the page you want to link to, and then when making your post, type @ and it will provide you with a link to be added directly into your text.

We post all kinds of things on there - mostly articles of interest, health topics, clinic closings, upcoming events (open houses, free weeknight classes, etc). Ppl love that.
