African peoples had their own traditional style of clothes before Europeans and Arabs came.

For example, in the Ghana West Africa, they have a special cloth called Kente cloth, woven by hand, beautiful colors, traditional to that country, nothing to do with Europe or Arabs, here is a link with pics of it.....http://www.marshall.edu/akanart/cloth_kente.html

Other countries have beautiful traditional clothes, I just saw some African women this weekend, and they told me they buy the fabric and make it themselves. They found out how to wove hair together into braids, so what makes you think they cant do that to clothes?

WHat about Kunte clothes and other valuable African Items they sold at the Timbuktu? Millions of people would go to Africa to get items.
