Why is there a message I didn't write in a chat box on facebook?

I was chatting with my mom and on facebook and the chat box was popping up even when I didn't click it. Then I logged off and then 40 mins. later I logged back on and accidentally hit the chat box and it said that I sent a message saying this:trying to figure it out why this chat is popping in my screen.
I didn't write that. I just wanted to know if this means my facebook is being hacked or if it is something I shouldn't worry about.
