I hate running. When I was younger I got made fun of for the way I run so when I got to high school I quit running altogether.
I'm not overweight, I'm actually below the average weight range for my height, but my doctor says I need to start exercising. She said that it will catch up to me someday though which is why I should start now.
I don't like running though! And cardio is like a huge part of working out isn't it?
Does yoga include cardio?
I figure if I start out with yoga (which I think would be relaxing and beneficial to me anyways) I may get used to exercising with other people around and eventually may be able to go to my gym and run and lift and stuff.
I just need to know if that's a good theory, or if I have a completely wrong impression of yoga?
