Hi ff
Zone Therapy is the "original" western method of Reflexology.
Fortunately/unfortunately (I have mixed feels on this) reflexology is an offshoot of ZT that concentrated on working the energy of the body via the feet. Some reflexologists may also work the hands and ears, which from what I can see is nearer to the original principles of ZT. Also ZT suggests the use of "tools" to apply pressure to pressure points, but Reflex is generally uses finger and thumb techniques. Must state through that in the UK, ZT is rare and Reflex is very common. You may have to seek a Reflexologist that uses pressure points all over the body, not just the feet.
Would ZT be useful, can't answer that question as a therapist needs to see you in the flesh and take a consultation. I don't think ZT or Reflex will by itself help to shift anorexia. You need other therapies ie psychological, and may be some nutritional support.
Healing is a journey to wholeness. Taking that first step with a holistic-minded practitioner that you feel you can trust is very important, and that is confident is referring you to a more appropriate therapy if necessary.
I wish you the best on your journey.
