He was the male singer in the orchestra bar at dahisar check naka

Tall ..at least 6 feet
Handsome
Slim and Fit

I asked with astonishing voice to captain ..

Generally male singers in orchestra bars are the most neglected species..
They are just fillers to sing songs before the dancing gals come on stage or when they are too tierd to dance..

But HE was differnt

Very handosme
Very Fit

I was surprised to see him in Orchestra bar

Nahi wo Hero hi hai...Captain calmly said..

He works in serials
Wo zee anmol pe uska serial aaya hai..saarhiya saath nibhana..aisa hi kuch naam hai serial ka..

Now i was clean bold

I called HIM

Yes..Sir ..wo thoda problem hai ..es liye yaha kaam karata hu ..HE said ..

But dont u feel awkward?.. I asked.

No sir ..my job is to entertain..
I do that on t v screen ..hear i do it live infront of people..
Same sir ..infact this is more challenging..

He was very confident..

I paid him tip ..
Tip to male singer in orchestra bar..i never do it..


But HE was differnt..

I catch hold of captain..

He told me the story..
HE is from Delhi...dropped out of college..came to Mumbai to become Hero..doing some small roles..no godfather..own father has kicked him out ..do not want to go home..
So doing work in orchestra bars in night..and give auditions in day time ..

Struggling in this ciry..

But Dreams are still on

No tinge of sadness in eyes

Doing job in dance bar

how so ever odd it may be ro keep dreams on ..

I shook his hamds while leaving

Tipped him well

When u enter a dance bar and u listen to a gujurati song with a pretty gal wearing Rolex watch is dancing among 5 to 6 middle aged sofasticated men
U should realise that u r in dahisar check naka dance bar .

Right from dahisar check naka to meera road fly over ..both sides are studded with dance bars .

In those days of early 2000..this part was in full glory and rich brats used to travel in open jeeps flaunting 5 to 6 dance bar gals at a time.

All lodges used to be full all time

There was no day
It was only night and next night

Slowly the real estate boomed ..empty lands were acquired by big projects
Lodha started its township
Db reality project got halted due to Shahid Balwa arrest
Central mall got revamped with money from Virar..u know whose ..
And with all this..middle class crowd start settling in the area.

Who will like to have dance bar infront of the building..?

So bars were raided
Some were raised in road widening
Police got money from builders
Highway liqor ban hit it hard
And area lost its glory
It was shut for few years

But as always..
Daaru always finds its way ..come may what


For last 6 to 8 months or so..it is again booming
Lots of new bars
With widened road..it is easy to reach ..more clean and nit ..

And at night time on this road on both sides
We see Lights on both sides ...inviting mongers

Malls..showrooms..eateries and loads dance bars..

It was great fun one time..Was frequenting that area quite often, Sea magic, Bossy, Night city, Millennium, Mansi, Rockstar, Samudra, Dassi..Redhorse n couple more had attached lodge..Sea magic n bossy were good.Sea magic had lot of LE issues..But after the new act it became very strict..They use check your watch even shirt buttons if you hav any hidden cameras...Have stopped after that..Not sure about current scene...N yes u r right mostly gujju use to come from far of till Surat...

Good interiors
At 7.30 pm it was full on sunday night
Old waiter from red horse recognized me
Offered me a singel sit
Sitting arragement is good
Rectangual shape..with sofa seats on side and comfy chairs in middle
Along left side..elevated single chairs ..like lounge

Good part of milky way Db is that all of them are mainly Obs

And Ob gals are on podium by 7.30 pm
Non ob gals are on floor

So unlike navi mumbai obs ..one need not wait till 10 pm for ob gals
They are on podium by 7.30 pm

Gals on podium..7 to 8 /10
Those on floor ..6 to 7 / 10

Ample cleavge on display
Open backs
Navels
Every thing on plate
One floor gal was having Rolex watch ..
Gifted by Her Jaanu

One famale singer with one male singer
Podium ob gals will dance turn by turn
U can call gal next tp ur seat for dance
U need to point to waiter and gal comes to ur tabel for dance

There are 3 things are most important

Gals are rated based upon..
2 points to each ..so total 10
1- looks
2- dressing sense ..open dress or closed one
3- dancing skill
4- arrogance level
5- flexible for groping or not

Very few bars have 8 or 9 out of 10 gals
Most of them have 6 or 7 by 10 gals
So rating for gals of bar is decided based upon how many high rating gals are preset
In that bar

Devide the total given out of 10 by 2
To get final points for gals

2- ambiance of bar

Points allocated 3

How well decorated the bar is
How Good or bad the wash room is
How is the sitting arrangement
How are lights ?

When we go to any db..our aim is to relax
So proper ambiance is needed

3-management
