Cat's Problem ( Newbie ) Help needed!?

2 weeks ago, my family found an abandoned cat and take it home.
Since day one, it will cough. If googled about it, and seems like she's having a hard time with HAIRBALL.
I don't know what is her sickness still, but at the moment, her conditions is getting worser and worser.
When we took her, she like to walk here and there, but now.. What she did is just.. Sleeping and coughing..

First of all, when you take in an abandoned cat, first thing you do is take the cat to the vet. She needs a complete exam from head to toe and blood work to rule out any possible diseases.....

This cat needs to see a vet. Do it right away, don't treat it yourself, you could make it worse. Don't say you can't afford a vet, if you take an animal in you are responsible for it. You could be charged with cruelty to animals. Make sure you get her spayed too, help control the animal population.

I had a cat for years and she began coughing, not too much at first but more and more after time and she would stay under the bed and not come out. I took her to the vet and found she had feline leukemia. I had to have her put down as there is no cure. Be careful, if you have other cats, it is very contagious. I would recommend taking her to a vet. It will cost you some money, but if you can help her wont it be worth it?

well its a abandoned cat so I would take it to the vets because it might have fleas etc.. I don't know what to suggest but I think the vets is the best

Take her to the vet, cough is not caused by fleas and a kitten that doesn't have any play time is a very sick kitten. There is nothing you can give her out of a people pharmacy. She needs shots and be checked, You kitten can go down real fast and die
