You are probably mixing up the locations of. Star City and Star Night.

Star City is located diagonally across the street from McDonald's. AFAIK it is still in operation.

Star Night is about half a km away, located next to Malvan Katta, as @Maverick2 mentioned.

He was somehow right.
If u go by gmap to star night ob than it will take u to lane between star city and star night.
Once i was talking with a starnight girl and was in ola and the driver almost spoiled my 5-10 minutes as he was following gmap and turned cab twice in front of Ikon.
At last i have to cut the call and guide him to my destination.

There are too many rules applied by Government and Supreme Court to run dance bar and orchestra bar in Mumbai.

Few of them are :

1) Time restrictions
2) Numbers of girls restriction
3) Showering of money restrictions ( u can tip in hand)
4) Obscene dance and clothes ( even ghagra as that reveals body parts of girl) restrictions
5) Smoking restrictions
6) and several others….

If u want to witness the legal terms allowed by Government than just watch the things when LE arrives for checking.
The bar removes cash cigarettes packets from Customers table and limits girl on the floor who are registered and have id and permission to perform according to law.
