The Impeachment process began, the House Judiciary Committee approved 3 articles of impeachment, his support eroded, and his advisors said he’d be impeached in the a house then tried in the Senate and forced to leave. To avoid the embarrassment he resigned. He was later pardoned.

So, not officially impeached as he resigned first but it was inevitable
