Do you work for a chiropractor? If YES?

If you work for a chiropractor, do you know or could you find out what cpt codes they use to bill for massage therapy? Or perhaps you bill directly yourself for massage therapy, if so would you please share how the billing is done...codes,etc. I do know about 97124 and 97140...Have you ever used any others?

Today was my last day working for a chiro. You can look up CPT codes online, just do a search. As fas as billing insurance yourself, you have to find out if your state will let you do it. Mine will not. I do believe only 2 will at this time, the rest will not, as they do not recognize it as a form of health care UNLESS its being billed through a drs office.

Quite a few states will allow LMTs to bill insurance. As to which codes to use, that depends on the state that you're in and which type of insurance you are billing to.

Doctors (including chiropractors) are able to use many more codes than LMTs on their own are allowed to use.
