Will SG's go back to the room with you?

The short answer not really, or rather you'll have a hard time convincing them to do so for a number of reason. Many people believe that just about all SGs have Padrotes{ Mexican pimps} and the Padrotes will forbid them to go to your room with you, maybe the Padrotes fear, you'll turn her out and she'll start giving you all the money? It could also be most SGs just feel more comfortable going to their short time motel, knowing there won't be any surprises waiting for her, and it's also quicker using her close by motel, that way she could be back in service quicker in her little spot she stands at.

There are some mongers that establish a relationship with SGs, and when they do, the SG will sometimes go to their hotel with them provided they feel comfortable with them, and no one is ordering the SG to only use the motel they stand next too. I'd say, you would have to at least take them up 3 to 5 times, before they get to know you. I been with a few SGs and had at least 3 sessions with them, and they don't remember me, hurting my feelings, so plan on doing lots of sessions with SGs before you even think about inviting them back to your room.

I sometimes would walk when I crossed. Keep in mind that I normally drive, but on a few occasions I would walk across the border and use the bridge....I would say it is much more dangerous at night, but anything can happen at any time....

I sometimes would walk to the downtown area and catch a taxi from there as I wasn't going to Coahuila....I just prefer not to deal with taxis near the border as they tend to cheat...regardless of their affiliation. There are honest taxi drivers with all the companies, but difficult to find at the border.

Dan I use to work in the Compton area many years ago, and about two years ago I was in Oakland and took a brief look at the street action. No Tijuana isn't as nearly as dangerous in my opinion.

In my case on the bridge it really wasn't anything, but I always remember reading Sir Brockton O'Toole's advice on TJ at the other World Sex guide, where he says:

"SAFETY ALERT: You may be tempted to save the cab fare and walk over the bridge into downtown TJ. THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! The neighborhoods you must traverse are not exactly the nicest parts of TJ. And there are bandidos who lurk along this route who specialize in robbing unwary foreign pedestrians. Be safe not sorry. Pay $5 for the taxi. Ditto for your return to the border. Again, WALKING BETWEEN THE ZONA NORTE AND THE BORDER IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS! Plain enough?"

In my case I walked many times to the zona, as it was part of my weigh loss work out, because after that walk and fucking at least two putas especially in the summer months, I'd lose at least 5 pounds from that one day, but usually only temporarily, as I walked a lot, and also walked to every bar over and over again, until I find someone I like.

However, twice in a roll I ran into a little trouble, or scare. Once these two guys tried to talk to me and I ignored them, they seemed to get a little upset and followed closely behind me, asking me to loan them some money, and calling me names, and at one point got a little bit close to me behind me, so I tried to let them pass, but they were determined to fuck with me, but nothing happen. The very next time I walked, there were three guys walking in front of me, and also 4 cops TJ Cops. They got the 3 guys, and seemed to be treating them a little rough as far as I could tell, and I just knew the forth cop was going to get me, and it was dark and no one else was around, but luckily for me, he let me pass. Usually I don't fear the cops, but in this case I felt they were up to no good, and I did have lots of money on me, more then usual, and I wanted to keep it.

After that I said to myself I better listen to Brockton O'Toole and just take a cab, especially since O Toole wrote the piece, Taxi Libre is around now, and if you can find one who turns on the meter the price is only $2 dollars for a ride to the zona.

The Bridge also has bums and I bet some homeless under it, and it's not a good idea to be hanging out there. During the day, and the summer months when it starts getting dark, the bridge is fairly safe, and there are lots of other people walking it, and the police are around, and not harassing the people, however when it gets really dark, very few people are walking the bridge, and that's when problems could occur.

Fireballs: Please go into the scares. I've always walked from the border to the Norte, never had a problem, and never been scared. (I've also lived in Oakland and worked in Compton, so I really don't scare easily.) Perhaps I'm just blind to the risks, so please share your experiences. They would be worthwhile in this forum.

First timers I would suggest using the yellow cab the first time $5 dollars. Just say .ADELITAS, and when they ask, you don't want to go to a massage place.( lots of taxi drivers try to steer you to purple rain MP, just say no)

Taxi Libre can be a little hard to find the first time in Tijuana, besides a lot of those guys don't want to turn on the meter, and want to charge you $5 dollars just like the yellow cab, so save yourself the trouble trying to locate a Taxi Libre. (personally I don't care if they don't want to accept a $2 dollar fare, if I owned a taxi libre, I would try to hold out for a better fare too)

Not even I walk to the zona anymore at night. It use to be a great workout, 10 to 15 minute walk to the zona, but it can be dangerous, because it's so isolated late at night. I had a scare twice I won't go into. However, before 9PM in the summer months, the bridge is busy, and doesn't seem dangerous at all.

I always recommend ADELITAS to all new people, even if I personally hate the place now. I recommend it because it has the best looking girls, and is a very Gringo friendly bar, you won't feel out of place. All the chicas go upstairs, and there is no game playing, you don't even have to buy them a drink. The down side is these girls are busy, and sometimes they rush the customers, but really you can't go wrong here. Don't forget to take a tour of the alley, with all the street girls, just great eye candy you might want to try out.

Like Viking, I advise against walking to or from the Zona Norte after dark.

Depending on the time of the day or night, you don't want to make that walk. My suggestions are for a first time visitor, I walk myself depending on the time of day. Yellow taxi is easy, taxi libra is cheaper if they turn on the meter and have it reset. I also wouldn't want to walk to zona norte until I know exactly where it is and the best way to get there.

My first two times to TJ I took a cab at the border and couldn't have begun to tell you where I was.

Zona Norte is a 15-minute walk from the border, and that's how I usually handle it. Turn right after crossing the border, go through the plazas (with all the drug stores and tourist souvenir places) to the bridge, cross the river, head toward the big wheel-like thing, and Zona Norte is just beyond.

It's a nice walk.

Use Taxi Libre, I did for the time I was there last month, they charge half as much or more, you need to use meter, but short trips are usually $2.00. Don

I think Viking summed it up very correctly. You cant go wrong with Adelitas for a newbie. Dont be fooled by the Taxi driver in going to purple rain or some other place. Hongkong is second choice, it is right behind Adelitas if you turn and turn around, And yeah dont talk to those damn street hustlers

I agree Adelitas, Chicago and the alley. I would suggest when crossing the boarder if walking just go strait through the second turn stiles, don’t turn right. This will bring you to several yellow taxi cabs. It should cost $5 to go to Adelitas. Just say Adelitas and you can also ask how much, sometimes they try to get more out of you, don’t let them tell you that Adelitas is closed and try to take you somewhere else.

When in Adelitas “AB” if you want to go to Chicago club “CC” go out the door and turn right on the sidewalk and walk to the corner, look to the left and you will see CC just passed the corner on the other side of the streets. To go to the alley from AB you just walk around the block, I would also suggest going to the right when leaving AB, instaid of crossing the street at the corner to go to CC just walk around the block without crossing any streets. The alley is one block long Hong Kong bar “HK” is on the alley, that is another bar you might want to try. I would also suggest not to talk to anyone you don’t know on the streets, except the street girls in the alley.

Oi!

I've been following this forum for a couple of weeks and really dig it. The sense of community here seems to be A++. So, I've never done any mongering, but have always been very open to and interested in the idea. I've read a lot of the older posts, so I have a general idea of everything, but honestly, I'm not sure where to start.

Any recommendations for a good first stop on the scene? Keep in mind that I'm a newbie to TJ in general.
