I feel that there should some clarification of information regarding the first post of this thread. First off, Bobo is not a respected member of PERB and I don't believe his thoughts of massageplanet are typical of PERB members. I see that last night after Bobo's post there were 3 posters that supported massageplanet and 1 that admonished him for his post, but that fact was not mentioned in the OP. Also, including today there were 5 posts supporting massageplanet and 3 admonishing him. While those are not great numbers, there was not one person that supported him in any manner. Perhaps more weight is being given to bobo's remarks than really should be given, and in my opinion bobo should be ignored.
The following post was made less than 1 1/2 hours after bobo's post by a very respected member of PERB and his thoughts were supported by a few other members. "many PERBerts are on both Boards, like me, and the Calgary Intel is better than the Calgary section on PERB. The owner of the massageplanet Board and Mods are more involved than the Owner/Mods on PERB so there is less flaming.
Both Boards serve a useful purpose and there is no need to treat them as competing or better or worse. I love the Oilers but when I am in Calgary I still like to go to a Flames game so I can cheer on any team that is playing against them . Thank Gawd we have both teams in Alberta
Just my two cents ... T"
Many people support both forums and feel that each is useful and and unique in their own way, and I am one such person. Many of us post on both boards and try to contribute what we can.
Bobo is one of those ignorant people that does not have much that is of use to contribute and probably likes the attention his remarks are getting him. It is indeed sad that people feel the need to take a shot at others (bobo -> massageplanet) to make themselves feel good.
I just felt that the above needed to be mentioned in the hopes of harmony between the boards. We should all be working to the benefit of fellow members on each board instead of trying to cause problems where none need exist.
I hope this helps.
