Fun first date ideas?

So after being so busy the past weekends I finally have the time to go out
with a nice cutie She tells me (I make the call) and decide where to go.

I am just clueless so any idea would be helpful! I'm not really looking for a place that's trashy or a place that's to classy! Nice place to eat and then maybe a movie or anything else to go and hangout. (Toronto) area

Stay away from the movies, all you'd be doing is sitting beside her. Anything that involves interaction is best.
Medieval times as mentioned is good. I've done diner and an evening at woodbine. ( About a $150 for the meal and a bottle of wine).
Basically just do something where you can get some one on one conversation going to see what she's all about. See if there is any chemistry, and take it from there.

I'd skip the movie, do something where you can chat and laugh a bit - personal interaction.

I suggest going bowling or playing pool, then you have a simple indoor activity as well to talk about along with having a few drinks to loosen up.

Maybe karaoke?

I was only kidding but in retrospect its not really a bad idea.

Chicks like to dance so why not go to a dance club? Just don't go to one that has the music turned so loud that you need ear plugs?

Personally I (in all seriousness) like to go for dinner - nothing too formal - and then a friendly neighborhood style pub.

Great food, ambiance and music. Chicks swoon and I've always gotten lucky later in the evening with whatever date I've taken there.

Plaza Flamingo is another choice. Resto on the main floor and nightclub upstairs.

If you don't know how to dance, they have a "lesson" right after the dinner show. You can learn and then practice upstairs. Make sure the sangria keeps flowing.

Its called noir, its a restaurent where the servers are all blind. You dine in and eat in complete darkness. No lights, cell phones or anything. Just to feel how it is like to eat and live a blind life.

Do you know anything about her? Does she like cooking or pottery? You could take a one day class together. If she likes art, a museum might be a nice way to show her you like what she likes. Is she athletic? You could go to a rock climbing class. Does she like video games? An arcade would be fun (Sentry and I used to go to one all the time when we dating). Good luck. Go and smoke sheisha at a massageplanete. I just moved to toronto so I'm not sure of any in the area yet. but in Calgary narah is great. It is so relaxing and I find it a very social activity. The ethnic food is always good plus good music
