Well Johnparker, no matter what all the other people here say, (Btw. just the drinks at Vbar cost fare more than most people in the forum are willing to plan for all the FS packet per evening) you definitvely did the right thing. I live now since one year in Shenzhen and I must say the girls you can have for 150/700/1500 what ever in Luohu can not nearly compete to the girls you find in Vbar.

The most important difference for me is the level of education. If you don't speak chinese, you will be lost as soon as you leave the OCT area. In the KTV/Saunas etc you will find not a girl which can speak english at a level you can have a conversation. Nearly all all girls I met in Vbar speak very good english or at least decent. All of them had a good job, hell some of them even earn more money a month than I earn a year.
Once I met a girls, had a nice evening etc and when we decided to go home she led me to her BMW.

From what you wrote and also the fact that you seem to have no problem with money I think you will just be disappointed from the other KTV/Sauna places.

Stick to the Vbar or the Gallion bar at the Intercontinental, dress nice and you will have a lot of fun at a high level. In these two bars you have the High Society from Shenzhen, all the newly rich, Goverment Officers, Factory owners from HK etc.

A last tip. Don't order beer. Beer is for the cheap fuckers. Order Henessy XO and green tea or soda, thats what most of the people there drink. If you plan to come back to Shenzhen or your company is sending you there regularly, don't worry you can store unfinished bottles at the bar for later use.

It's also a good idea to offer the people next to you a glass (men or women, doesn't matter), you will meet interesting people and they will offer you a glass as well. And when you finally found a nice girl you can easily spend a nice week with her without paying her for the sex. Just pay for dinners, Vbar etc as you would with any other girl.

Stayed at the Shanshui fashion trends hotel, luowu. East of the luowu station, but they have a free shuttle, which I couldn't find until after i checked in and got told.

KTV and MP next door, and the hotel is girl friendly. (ie. girl I booked followed me in without anyone stopping her - right in front of the bellboys/front desk etc)

Was tired and got the incall option for a BM and FJ from next door. Damage was RMB400 (and yes, it was likely too high - expected $300 max). KTV's are clubs with private rooms, set up with sound systems, TV's to sing sounds in .. There are girls available, they usually bring a group in, and you choose one (or more). Depending on the club and the city, sometimes the girl just sits and talks, pours your drinks, sings.. sits close to you. Some clubs, you can get some hand action.. or you can touch her anywhere.. some clubs the girls will take some clothes off... but you never know, unless you get word from someone how it works... You either pay for the room, plus your drinks, then have to tip the girl.. (depends how much, how long you are there), or sometimes there is a room charge and a minimum amount you have to buy in food and drinks. Sometimes the girls start to order fruit and snacks.... drink alot (which you pay for).. and the bill gets quite high for not much action... As you say, a lot is just personal taste. I would rather spend time with a girl who has been around the block a couple of times if the rest of her is mint condition. I'm not a tour guide, but I'm in SZ about 2-3 months out of the year on work related matters. I've been coming to SZ regularly for over 6 years and I've seen a lot of change here.
