Rosie, two things spring to mind:
Just get talking to the midwives and keep talking, even if they want something different to what you are offering, just go down that route and get yourself in with them. Secondly, how about doing some case studies for the course free of charge? I am sure you would get lots of women wanting treatment, put a card up at the clinic or talk to the midwives again.
Other ways to try and get your chosen clients:
Primary schools - full of young mums with little children, babies and babies on the way. Contact the PA and ask if you can give a talk and do mini treatments. You could even do a 'pamper evening' with another theapist.
Play groups and nurseries. Same as above.
They all have advertising space in their summer fete mags too, so contact your local schools for that, it is cheap.
