How should I introduce myself to her?

Hello. I need help to start talking to this girl. She is in my school and I see her sometimes in the hallways and smile at her, and she smiles back. How can I now start talking with her? I was just going to give her a compliment about something that she is wearing or her hair or whatever and let it flow from there. Is that a good approach? Any suggestions? I am her friend on FaceBook, but I don't want to start talking to her like that. I know her name but it is by face book.

Go up and just say the compliment. Be yourself. And don't start talking to her via Facebook, talk to her in person. If you talk to her on facebook, she might think you're too afraid to face her in public.

walk right up to her and be like hey whats up youre pretty cute would you like to hang out sometime? thats a good opening line plus if you noticed her i am sure she has noticed you its kind of like that game where the prey plays with the huntr you get it im sur

i do not know how old you are or what type of school etc, but I suggest that you simply walk to her and introduce yourself. I do not think a compliment or anything of that nature is necessary. Simply letting her know that you notice her is enough to open the door. "If" she asks you what you notice about her THEN tell her. I think starting out w/a compliment is LAME and transparent. BE BOLD speak to her. start a conversation.
