iPhone 4 newbie and i need help?

So, i know i want the iPhone 4, i know what it packs, i know what the phone is about. Although, i'm new to the iPhone and at&t environment, and need a few more help/tips.

First,

To purchase an iPhone 4, would you need to use a credit card. Or can you use cash or a debit card. And specifically for at&t, i know Apple will take either method. How did you pay it off in at&t? I wanna know for those who have experienced this when signing up as a new at&t customer. And if you purchase off Apple, can you still do that $25 recommendation deal with at&t, even though you purchased from Apple?

Second,

How is the durability? Is the back side really scratchable, do you have a scratch already, have you dropped your iPhone 4 and were lucky to not find it shattered? And how about the front too? I know it's a really good, scratching resistant glass in the front, but since we're at, why not ask

Lastly,

How is it? How's the experience.


Please help if you can. Easy points here. I just wanna hear your in store experiences and how the phone holds up all together.
