LOL Nels...a scrunchie is a hair elastic which is covered with material..various shapes and forms of the scrunchie...Used to tie the hair in a pony tail...out of the way...:biggrinlo :biggrinlo :biggrinlo

You could pack a plaitting machine in your kit...but having never seen such a device...don't know how bulky it is...this would keep the hair out of the way...but might kill the mood a bit by halting to plait the coiff if the hair's in the way !!! :what:

A scrunchy is a much quicker solution to the problem and very compact and light to pack...:D :D :D
