The city is not granting any more body rub licenses.

They may not grant new licences but they are asking owners to change the type of licence and as far as i know they are doing it. As I indicated earlier - a moey grubbing exercise.

The city of Toronto has money grab going. Wants all holistic spas to apply for Body Rub licence. Licence fees is in the 1,000's. Espa was served a notice to change their licence.

Anyway, as of right now, the situation is still very fluid. Pending appeals etc, all depends of how strict the by law enforcement will be.

I may be wrong but I think Markham, Richmond hill is not allowed a holistic spa . They must have a real rmt on site.

160 East Beaver has no zoning issues. By Law suggested EB to apply for a Body Rub license which is about 6100 bucks, but the problem is most girls don't want to apply for a body Rub licence .. The licence fee is only $366 bucks which isn't much but girls don't want their names in records for personal reasons. Spas across the street have zoning problems. They must have changed zoning on that side after the major crack down a few yers back. Thanks to Invisible Touch.

If not a RMT clinic they can only do foot and scalp (head) massage.

Toronto, York, Peel, and Durham all have different bylaws.

Toronto body rub licenses are capped at 25 and they are all spoken for. I don't see that ever changing.

I guess either she is just plain lucky or has some sort of intuition that this is coming - Just Relax sold for quite a few dollars and I believe the deal just closed recently.
