I am sure that we all have clients that know of someone who wants to try massage, but is hesitant. People who would most likely love massage once they have had one and would be completely comfortable with it once they experience it. I know not everyone in the world wants to get a massage, but this would be for those who are open to it.That being said, I was thinking of having a "Meet and Greet". Invite your current clients to bring friends, family, whomever, that they know are be interested in massage. You would reward the client (maybe coupon for extra minutes = number of referrals) and give incentives to the potential client (drawing for discounted or free massage, discount off first massage). Food, beverages, handouts, ect.I thought that this would be a good way to introduce yourself and massage to the potential clients. They can meet you, get a chair massage, check out the massage room ect. It might help resolve the hesitant feelings of the "unknown" and at the same time help build your practice. What do you all think? Any suggestions?
