Well, I am going to try oil-pulling with sesame oil (found WAY at the back of my cupboard) for five to ten minutes each morning for...let's say a week.
My gripe is that I have obnoxious bumpy skin on my legs, almost like ingrown hairs though they are generally colourless and not irritating in any way (other than my legs are bumpy and not smooth). If I were to self-diagnose, I would say it's something called "keratosis pilaris", a type of skin 'disease' of some sort which varies in severity, usually is found on the backs of arms, and can be, in some cases, disfiguring.
Extreme exfoliatiion and lotions has had no effect on these cursed bumps, so we'll try this.
I am always a bit nervous when trying any sort of treatment, be it natural or prescribed by a doctor, so this forum will come quite handy.
