Sampson Busted!

Perhaps your right Dr Choi. I know one of his escorts who got busted with SAmpson, was on TV during her short stay in prison, and sang like a canary to the TV crew on the nightly news, and no doubt to the TJ Cops. I'm sure most of the escorts have scattered now to other bars or perhaps to other agency's?

I doubt that Sampson knows that, as he has no access to a phone, nor a shower, and I even hear he is going without food if the rumors I'm hearing are accurate? It's a real shame, because I understand Sampson was hoping to get his bail reduced yesterday, and perhaps let out on bail already. Hopefully, Sampson's attorney didn't run off with the money, and leave Sampson in the hole?

Even guys on internet sites are tuning away from Sampson, thinking just by helping raising money for him that some how they to could get in trouble with the law by aiding and abetting Sampson. That's crazy thinking! If you don't want to help Sampson, fine don't that's your business, but don't scare other away from helping, as there is nothing wrong with helping raise money for a 'Legal fund' or for little things like food in prison and other small things.

I guess Sampson will find out the hard way who his friends really are?

I was going to mention any names but pretty much everyone knows that Country John, put up the balance of my bail.

One monger put up $1000
Another put up $1000 after the fact
My ex raised $1652.22
another monger raised 847.78 and combined with my ex's money made $2500

At the time the bail was about $8400(90,000 pesos) Now the peso is weaker, so maybe CJ will actually make a couple dollars for his effort.
The monger in Boston would like his money if the bail is returned, and has indicated that he doesn't want the money back unless it is returned.

So we are looking at $3900 to CJ, and $1000 each to two other guys.

The problem is the guys making the noise are speculating and just don't have the facts.

I had a fund raising party for the secretaries bail, and when that is returned about $1300 will go to the orphans as some guys requested that that is where the money ultimately will go....another wanted his $200 to go to the secretary, and of couse it will.

Now if anyone really cares other than the noise makers, the post by Amo is the guy who takes care of the orphan fund and worked on the project before I did. We have a good working relationship and if anyone would like to join us on one of our trips you are always welcomed. My 7 year old, who is Mexican/American loves to go and play with the kids.

On a much happier note, we have received two computers for the kids and Amo and I delivered them in August I believe.

Kittyfreak, in a traditional sense Sampson was still a pimp, because he made his money off the backs of other women, bottom line; and like you I hated pimps, as I had my run ins with pimps in the states, and even got to know a few of them who had their hoes steal from me, and other pimps who provided me with outstanding hoes when I was out of town.

What separated Sampson a little from old school pimps, is Sampson allowed the girls to keep 2/3 of the money, according to him, and even to an escort I talked too about Sampson. In the real world, no pimp/padrote worth his salt, would ever allow a escort/HO to keep her own money, because allowing her to do so could lead her to think for herself, give her options, and it may lead to her leaving the organization.

What also cracked me up about Sampson, is he heard those well-founded rumors, like me that another agency owner expected as a fringe benefit that the escorts give the owner freebies whenever they wanted, or he held auditions for new girls. Sampson was absolutely horrified about that, as he felt it was unprofessional and probably un pimp like, because real pimps use sex for power and control, not to just get off.

I think Sampson earned his pay, because I also know another one of his escorts was being stalked by a monger on another site. I don't know exactly what this dude did, but he left the poor hot escort scared to death! It got to a point where this girl didn't go out unless Sampson drove her. After that incident Sampson tried to keep close tabs on all the escorts, often being the driver.

In fact one of my close friends tried to use Sampson's escort services, and take the escort back to his no frills hotel, and Sampson flat out told the guy NO, that he can't guarantee the escorts safety at that hotel, and besides it's below the standards where he sends escorts. Sampson usually used the upscale love motel, La Mansion, or one just like it, where the upper crust of Tijuana society goes, when they want a discreet romantic getaway with their lovers or mistress. My friend was pissed at Sampson, telling me Sampson thinks he is high class, but really is a bum. But I respected Sampson decision as safety for his escort was his number one concern, and money was secondary.

Dr Choi, I'm well aware of those privately held fund raising methods, and I'm not even suprised who is leading them. However, it would still be better if it was out in the open, as many of Sampson's clients, don't belong to those private forums, where only maybe one guy is actually an escort client.

I was in court today, and I go back on Monday and Wedenesday of next week. Everything looks good at this point for a not guilty verdict, but I will post more after the case.

Even if found guilty the bail money will be returned and the fine would be small.

Yes there were lots of rumors flying around about the bail money and of course they were unfounded. The money at Viva Mex was locked up as the manager was on vacation and CJ got the money when she returned. Someone even tried to suggest that my son'e mother never turned over the money, but the monger she sent it to came forward and told those people he got the money the week I was bailed out.

Someone even now is suggeting that I am mastermining a plan to rip off CJ. It amazes me that these guys have so much imagination. I get all the info second hand, so I will not name names, but it is someone that doesn't know the first thing about my case or even my charge...

Anyway we have already secured a way to run our business under a legal license, and will have a new website when this case is terminated. It will be obviouls even to the loud mouth's that are bashing me, when we re-open to the general public that the business is in fact legal.

I do give Sampson credit and staying and fighting this charge. Not even the Duane The Dog Chapman, stayed and fought in TJ, as the bail hunter himself skipped bail, how ironic, and now him and his wife want up to sign a petition asking the US Government to not send him back to TJ. As I understand, the Dog like Sampson, even if found guilty would probably only owe a fine, but I guess you never know in Mexico?

If this is a private matter I'll understand and won't post anymore about the subject, but there has been much interest in Sampson's story, and the girls who use to work with him, and their is the concern about the bail money that are hero Country John seemed to be real concerned about, and he had trouble collecting money some mongers promised him, or finding out where the donations were at VivaMexSpa, hopefully the situation has been resolved? { there are even rumors about Team Juanita, but I won't address any of that?)

As best as I can tell Sampson's situation is almost unique. It's one of the few times I think it was a "win-win" for a pimp and a prostitute.

Those that worked for Sampson did so by their own choice. The preferred it to working in bars. The got to spend more time at time (with kids). They didn't have to come home half drunk every day or be groped all day long for the price of a beer.

Escorts had tried and failed to work as independents in Tijuana. Most don't speak enough English to make appointments. (What do you look like, what will you be wearing, etc.) Most don't have Internet at home and so weren't able to respond to e-mails in a timely manner.

As I say, his situation was almost unique. I think his chicas were better off with him than without him. But I agree with you sentiments about pimping in general.

Most people would sign a confession if somebody put a gun to their head. Stories emergering from his chicas who've been released indicate confessions were less than voluntary.

Donations are not loans. So it's more than a little unfair for guys (who mostly didn't donate anything to the bail fund) to say that Sampson received a bunch of loans that's he's overdue in repaying.

Somehow you have picked up some misinformation. I was very active in raising money for Sampson's bail. I was one of three mongers present when the bail was paid. So for the record:

First, everybody who donated money was told to consider it gift, not a loan, because:
a)The fund raisers knew Sampson was broke, didn't have a job, and wasn't in a position to repay anybody anything
b)Nobody knew/knows if the Mexican courts will actually refund the money. There was/is the possibility it will be converted to a "fine" and "kept."

Second, what I posted, told people, and was understood by those present when the bail was paid is that they would get their money back if (and only if) the bail money was refuned.

Third, Country John posted the bail. If the bail is refuned it will be refunded to him, not to Sampson.

Fourth, if the money is refuned the donations are to be retuned to their doners by County John, not Sampson. The money that I and others rasied was given to Country John so he wouldn't be out of pocket the entire amount while Sampson's case was before the court. (When we met with Sampson's attorney who went with us to post bail we were told the case could take up to two years.)

Fifth, I have full confidence in Country John. When Sampson's case is over if the Mexican legal system refund the bail money I am confident Country John will refund the money to those who assisted him in posting bail.

That is fair. I hate to pass judgement on anyone. But, I generally have an issue with pimps, regardless of how passive a role they play. Let's face it, a pimp's job is to take money from prostitutes that they derive from sex with clients. I like the Costa Rica system where prostitution is legal but pimping is illegal in any form. True, it does seem (based on the available information) that Sampson is/was a very professional and fair pimp. But, he is/was a pimp just the same.

Perhaps I was a little harsh on the PRAVDA comment, as I understand certain members are saying the are only posting Sampson's ex-wife comments, and getting information from the horse's mouth as they say. However, I still say that everything that's coming out ot the news should be posted, both good, bad, and yes even the rumors and let the readers figure it out for themselves.

BTW just to be clear there is a Sampson legal defense fund, see the post below, VivaMexSpa is talking up collections for Sampson. Hopefully I'll have time to get away this week, and make a trip to VivaMexSpa and drop off an envelopes with a few bills in them, even if I didn't see eye to eye with Sampson on many issues. I just hate to see an American Gringo stuck in a Mexican jail!

Now for the gossip, it's my understanding that the TJ Police got Sampson to sign in confession in Spanish, even when he wasn't fluent in Spanish, especially reading and writing. Many of us our troubled by this, because Sampson always put himself out there as a savvy tough guy, not someone who would buckle under a little pressure from the TJ Police. My question is what methods did the police use to get Sampson to sign a confession, and what did he sign?

According to many US Goverment sources, amnesty human rights groups, and rumor, is that even if TORTURE is against the Mexican Constitution, that 'torture' is freely practiced by the Mexican police! It seems the Prosecution submits signed confession as evidence, even if the confession was gained by way of torture, and the Judge accepts these confessions routinely!
