Hi there.
I have 2 new clients tomorrow and, although I've been practicing for 2 years now, they're presenting me with two firsts .... my first pregnant client and my first IVF client. I'm a little nervous and am not sure how I should approach the treatments. I have no formal maternity/fertility reflex training.
Client 1 is 38 weeks pg, in excellent health with no complaints. BP good and only very slight oedema. She's coming purely for relaxation. So I was thinking about doing a full treatment with some extra work on the endocrine system, lymphatics and SP and adrenals. Does this sound ok or is there anything else I should consider?
Client 2 is due for embryo transfer Sat/Sun. I'm very nervous about treating her as I know what a highly emotional and difficult journey IVF can be, but I do want to be of as much assistance and support as I can be. Will a gentle, full treatment be suitable in this situation with gentle stimulation of the uterus reflex & endocrine system? Any specific moves I need to do or reflexes I should avoid??
I'm usually not nervous about new clients, but am now wishing I had some maternity training under my belt for some extra confidence
